Lightwater Valley Theme Park is a small park in North Yorkshire, just north of Ripon, easily reached from the A1 and A61. Prices for 2005 are £14.50 p/p with with a reduction for smaller children and family tickets.

It is home to The Ultimate rollercoaster, once holder of many records (still the longest rollercoaster in Europe), Although ageing this is still a ride with a thrill.

During the last season, Lightwater Valley introduced the awesome Eagle's Claw which sits on the site of the old coaster, Viper. A KMG Afterburner - gyro swing ride - that is, a giant arm that swings and spins to provide a spectacular ride experience. Also recently new is the Trauma Tower, a small Moser Spring Tower, think a large 'Frog Hopper' .

New for Older visitors in 2005 is The Trauma Tower, whilst younger riders can enjoy the Magic Wheel and the Amazing Maze.
